![]() Why would you put dodge on the A or B button or something of the likes? You then have to take off your thumb from aiming your gun to dodge, but if your left trigger is the dodge button, you can be moving, aiming, firing, and dodging, all without needing to sacrifice one for the other, in terms of finger usage that is. Also the left trigger is honestly a more comfortable/convenient dodging button. But the setups on Switch/Xbox inputs should be triggers firing, not bumpers. Mind you, I own and have played both the PC and Nintendo Switch version.įirst and foremost, why is the bumper to fire, and not the triggers? I could see this working on a PS4 controller, as I believe most PS games use the R1/L1 buttons rather than the back two for that. It's just something to take into consideration. ![]() I recently had a friend try the game and one of the biggest things he was turned off by were the controls, until I changed them for him. You may be thinking this isn't important, but it's a bad first impression to a newcomer for the game if the controls are awkward and clunky. Hell, I even watched Markipliers video recently on him trying out EtG, and the first thing he does, not even halfway through the tutorial, is make comments on the weird controls and changes them. I, and most people I know that have played with a gamepad, almost immediately after starting the game have changed our controls completely around. The way the default controls are set up by default are clunky and weird. The default controls on gamepads should be swapped around a lot.
